FTI's intellegent Video Software
Automatic sensitivity and color fastness control are algorithms of FTI based on continuous image acquisition in image ring buffers and image analysis in separate regions. Region analysis control values are extracted
to control the global gain and shutters of the color and monchrome cameras. For the color cameras channel specific gains are also extracted to control color fastness.
Together, the algorithms guarantee stable images, including images in rapidly changing light conditions. The main benefit of these algorithms and the dynamic camera control are comparable images in bright sun,
normal sky, twilight and night (with help of additional IR-LED illumination). Processing is extended in a control loop within the
acquisition computer.
