System Integration Engineer - Hardware Controls (m/f)

for our client a major engine manufacturer

Duties and responsibilities: 

• Definition, modelling and validation of complex systems

• Analyse of customer requests and transfer into validated functional requirements for the whole system or subsystems
• Development of subsystems to achieve functional requirements of the system with the given design framework
• analyse whole- or subsystem concerning functional capability, if necessary including complete modelling and simulation to verify that chosen design copes with given functional requirements
• Interface with other engineering sub domains to gain complete understanding of sub components functional performances thus supporting efficient requirement documents
• Issue reports to support the design change approval process

Requirement: 

• Minimum 3 years experience within the aerospace industry
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• strong knowledge/experience with interface-management between aero-engine and airframe, components and component technology in normal and abnormal operating modes, verification management, modelling of control-systems and system architecture
• Strong knowledge and appliance of in the following applications and design guides: DO-254, DO-160, DOORS
• Programming experience in MATLAB, Visual Basics and a good understanding of UNIX environment
• Fluent in English - spoken and written
