Tank Measurement System
Based on a pressure sensitive, volumetric measurement method, the Tank Measurement System (TMS) ist able to exactly measure the level of a tank independent of form, content and position of the container. Thus, an integrated fuel management system can be offered.
The TMS allows to exactly determine the content of a tank via gas volume. The air volume in a closed tank will change by a known quantity, thus allowing calculating the volume change through the increase in pressure. Since the volume of the empty tank is known, the volumetric differential calculation delivers exact measurement results.
