FTI provides the design and certification of an ADS-B Out and Enhanced Surveillance system consisting a standalone GPS and new ADS-B Out capable Transponders. The existing Rockwell Collins Transponders will be removed and replaced by the Garmin GTX3000 Transponder. The existing Rockwell Collins GPS-4000A will not be modified and remains as a position source for the Flight Management System. The Garmin GPS3000 will be installed as a standalone GPS and act as a position source for the ADS-B Out functionality of the GTX3000 Transponder.
