FTI covers all key manufacturing technologies in aircraft construction –
from mold and jig construction, via all forms of composite manufacturing to
welded metal structures and sheet metal. We also cover harness and switch box
manufacturing.

With our experience and technology, we enable lightweight, reliable and predictable structural performance.

Fiber Reinforced Plastics

Composite structures are the dominant technology today when it comes to
lightweight aircraft construction. Our scope ranges from non-structural
fairings and hatches to main structural components e.g. spar and shell of a
27m full carbon wing or a fuselage monocoque structure.

Aviation Harness Manufacturing.

We are experienced in manufacturing aviation harnesses and switch boxes
for application in critical systems and high radiation / EMI environment.

Welded Metal Structures.

Alongside timber construction, steel construction is the oldest technology in aircraft construction. Even today, steel constructions still have a number of advantages. For example, point loads can be passed through better. In addition, the calculation and manufacture of such structures is very predictable and weight assumptions are much more precise.

CNC Milled Structures

With our inhouse CNC centres we can produce any kind of milled solid part. The independence from long supply chains allows rapid prototyping and fast iteration of your designs.
