FTI develops and manufactures modifications for CS23 and CS25 aircraft as well as CS27 helicopters. In addition, we have extensive expertise in the complete development of manned CS23 aircraft and unmanned platforms with a takeoff weight of up to 5 tons.

We support our customers from the initial concept through prototyping to final certification. In doing so, we cover the entire spectrum of modern aircraft manufacturing—from system integration into existing fleets to the development of entirely new platforms.

Aircraft Development

Development of new manned and unmanned platforms—including structure, aerodynamics, system architecture, propulsion integration, certification, prototype manufacturing, and testing.

Modification & Retrofit

Modification of existing aircraft in categories CS23, CS25, and CS27 in the areas of avionics, structure, cabin, mission equipment, and electrical systems.

DOA & POA from a single source

As an EASA Part 21J and Part 21G organization, we cover development, manufacturing, and regulatory compliance.

Regulatory First

We evaluate technical decisions from the outset with regard to regulatory, maintenance, and operational considerations. This reduces rework, interface issues, and project risks.

Powerful Network

With our established MRO partner network, we ensure high quality and minimal downtime during the conversion.

Each project is structured into clearly defined phases and work packages—with transparent milestones for both the developers and the client. During this phase, we also coordinate the regulatory basis and “Means of Compliance” with the relevant regulatory authority.

1

Definition

Shared definition of requirements based on the mission profile, operations, technical requirements, and certification basis.
2

Engineering

Design, analyses, calculations, and documentation in reports and drawings, ready for submission to the authorities.
3

Prototyping & Manufacturing

Manufacturing of components and wiring harnesses, as well as assembly into subassemblies and integration into the aircraft.
4

Testing

Verification of function and operational limits—whether it’s a structural test on the ground, a static vibration test, or in-flight testing, we cover the entire scope.
5

Documentation

The process takes place in consultation with the relevant authority throughout the entire development phase. Nevertheless, the final set of supporting documentation is ultimately submitted to the authority.
6

Commissioning & Support

We provide all necessary documents for operations and continually support the process.

Business Aviation

High-speed connectivity upgrades (Gogo STC) and interior modifications.

Special Mission

Integration of sensors, wing pods, and camera systems for aircraft such as the King Air 350 or Cessna.

Commercial Aviation

Certified video surveillance systems for the passenger cabin and cargo hold (CS-25).

UAV / OPV:

The development of highly durable structures and system integration for unmanned or optionally manned platforms.

Take advantage of our experience as one of Europe’s leading aircraft modification companies to bring innovations to the skies quickly, safely, and in compliance with certification standards.
