FTI Engineering Network acquires assets from APUS Zero Emission
peiker Holding enables strategic expansion in civil aviation
Wildau, June 25, 2025. FTI Engineering Network GmbH, a subsidiary of peiker Holding GmbH, significantly expands its capacities and service offerings through an asset deal with APUS Zero Emission GmbH. By acquiring key assets and skilled personnel, FTI continues to grow its presence in civil aviation and strengthens its position as one of the leading providers in aircraft modification in Europe.
The Strausberg location will now focus on the development and modification of civil aviation projects. With this asset deal, FTI's team grows to approximately 100 employees. The newly acquired expertise in aircraft manufacturing and development will greatly accelerate the expansion of its service portfolio.
Michael Weisel, Managing Director of FTI, expressed his enthusiasm: “I am very pleased that we received the contract and that, through the asset deal, we have gained many highly motivated new employees. This positions us well to meet the future demands of the aviation industry with innovation.”

Founded in 2001, FTI Engineering Network GmbH has been part of the Peiker family since 2018. The company employs 50 staff at its locations in Wildau and Bremen. It specializes in aircraft design and modification, as well as developing software solutions for aviation. The combination of these skills allows FTI to focus particularly on customizing aircraft for special missions. Another key area is the development of comprehensive software solutions that connect aircraft hardware with the cloud. This enables tailored solutions that meet individual customer requirements while adhering to the highest quality and safety standards.
